Partial Felt Replacement

Service Description

Partial cloth replacement for billiard tables — play area only. AED 1,100 plus travel, at your location in Dubai and across the UAE. Not every worn table needs a full re-cloth. Wear is rarely even: the bed goes first along the break line and in front of the pockets, while the cushion cloth above it is often still clean. Replacing only the play area costs less in both labour and material, and on the right table it buys you another couple of years. WHAT THIS BOOKING COVERS The bed re-clothed, rails left as they are. AED 1,100 plus travel. YOU CHOOSE THE CLOTH Partial work is not restricted to one grade. You can have Moori 500, CPBA MG-700, CPBA TN-999 or CPBA Competition, in any colour we stock in that cloth. The AED 1,100 price is based on Moori 500; the other grades cost more for the material, and we will tell you the difference before you commit. CUSHIONS ONLY, OR A SINGLE CUSHION We do this too — sometimes only one rail is torn, burnt or stained and the rest of the table is fine. It comes up rarely though, and the price depends entirely on what is damaged, so there is no standard figure and no booking button for it. Contact us directly with your location and photographs of the damage and we will quote it. ONE WARNING WORTH READING New cloth next to old cloth will not match, even in the same colour from the same roll — the old cloth has faded and flattened. If your rails are visibly worn or sun-faded, a partial job will look partial. Change colour, and it will look worse. In those cases a full re-cloth from AED 1,400 is the better spend, and we will say so rather than take the smaller job. WHEN PARTIAL IS THE RIGHT CALL • Wear is concentrated on the bed and the rails are still clean and unfaded • You are keeping the same colour • The table has a year or two left before you re-cloth it properly WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES Disassembly, the cloth work itself, reassembly, and levelling. MOVING THE TABLE AT THE SAME TIME If you are moving house, the job also covers moving the table to the new address — within a 40 km radius. Past 40 km, travel is charged on top. Send us both addresses and you will have the total before you book, not after. ACCESS — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING Apartments and offices need a working lift. A stone bed cannot be carried up a stairwell safely, and we will not attempt it. Roof terraces, basements, and the second or third floor of a villa carry an extra charge. Send us photographs of the access and we will confirm the figure before the day, not on it. TRAVEL CHARGES Dubai AED 100 · Sharjah AED 100 · Ajman and Umm Al Quwain AED 150 · Abu Dhabi from AED 300 · Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Al Ain from AED 300 · Beyond Abu Dhabi, quoted. There is no free delivery, and the charge is confirmed with you before anything is booked — never after.
