All TSports basketball stands carry a 1-year limited warranty against genuine manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, under normal recreational use only. This warranty applies strictly to the original purchaser at the original delivery address and is non-transferable. The sections below define exactly what is and is not covered. Anything not expressly listed as covered is excluded.
COVERED — STRUCTURAL MANUFACTURING DEFECTS ONLY
• Pole & frame — main support pole(s) and frame, against defective welds or joints
• Backboard mounting bracket — factory-fitted brackets and mounting hardware that fail due to a production defect
• Rim structure — the rim itself (not the net), against defects in the steel
• Base / stand shell — structural cracks in the base resulting from a manufacturing defect, not impact or overfilling
NOT COVERED — WEAR, CONSUMABLE & USER-DAMAGED PARTS
• Backboard — cracking, shattering or breakage caused by impact, dunking, hanging or weather exposure
• Net — fraying, stretching or tearing
• Padding & decals — wear, fading or tearing of backboard padding, pole pads or graphics
• Powder coating / paint — scratches, scuffs, chipping or rust from outdoor exposure
• Base — punctures, cracks or leaks from impact, overfilling or freezing of water fill
VOIDS THE WARRANTY COMPLETELY
• Hanging, swinging on, or applying body weight to the rim, net or backboard
• Assembly not carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions
• Leaving the base empty or underfilled and using the unit, resulting in tip-over damage
• Any physical tampering, drilling or modification of the unit
• Damage from impact, force, accidents, mishandling or transport by the customer
• Unauthorized repairs or use of non-original replacement parts
Proof of original purchase is required for any claim.
