All TSports basketball backboard & rim sets carry a 1-year limited warranty against genuine manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, under normal recreational use only. This warranty applies strictly to the original purchaser at the original delivery address and is non-transferable. The sections below define exactly what is and is not covered. Anything not expressly listed as covered is excluded.
COVERED — STRUCTURAL MANUFACTURING DEFECTS ONLY
• Backboard frame & mounting arm — against defective welds or joints in the structural frame
• Mounting brackets & hardware — factory-fitted brackets that fail due to a production defect
• Rim structure — the rim itself (not the net), against defects in the steel or breakaway mechanism
• Height-adjustment mechanism — crank handle mechanism, against factory defects
NOT COVERED — WEAR, CONSUMABLE & USER-DAMAGED PARTS
• Backboard — cracking, shattering or breakage of glass or PC caused by impact, dunking, hanging or weather exposure
• Net — fraying, stretching or tearing
• Padding & decals — wear, fading or tearing of backboard padding or graphics
• Powder coating / paint — scratches, scuffs, chipping or rust from outdoor exposure
VOIDS THE WARRANTY COMPLETELY
• Hanging, swinging on, or applying body weight to the rim, net or backboard
• Installation/mounting not carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions or onto an unsuitable wall or structure
• Any physical tampering, drilling or modification of the unit
• Damage from impact, force, accidents, mishandling or transport by the customer
• Unauthorized repairs or use of non-original replacement parts
Proof of original purchase is required for any claim.
