All TSports dumbbells and weight plates carry a 30-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It starts on the delivery date. It covers normal use at home or in a commercial gym. Please check your order on delivery: a casting or coating fault is visible straight away, which is why the cover is short. It is given to the original purchaser and stays valid if you move address. It is in addition to your rights under UAE consumer protection law, not instead of them. The sections below set out what is and is not covered.
COVERED — MANUFACTURING DEFECTS ONLY
These are protected only against faults present at the time of manufacture:
• Head to handle — a head that is loose, off-centre or separating where it was cast or fixed
• Welds & inserts — a failed factory weld, or a threaded insert that was not seated correctly
• Coating — rubber lifting away from the casting on its own, with no sign of impact
• Marked weight — a piece whose actual weight does not match the figure cast or printed on it
• Bore — a centre hole that does not fit the bar size the product is sold as
NOT COVERED — HANDLING, WEAR & FINISH
Wear and tear on these parts is not covered. A genuine manufacturing defect in any of them is covered like any other part:
• Drop damage — chips, cracks, splits, bent handles or flattened rubber from being dropped or thrown. These are not bumper weights and are not built to be dropped
• Impact damage — from striking the floor, a rack, a bar or another weight
• Cosmetic condition — chips, scuffs, scratches, and paint or printing wearing off
• Rust & corrosion — from sweat, humidity, damp storage or any outdoor use
• Knurling & finish wear — handles smoothing, polishing or discolouring with use
• Loosening over time — collars, screws or end caps working loose through normal use
NOT COVERED — DAMAGE FROM THESE CAUSES
Damage caused by any of the following is not covered. The rest of the warranty still applies:
• Any modification, drilling, re-coating, re-painting or repair by anyone other than TSports
• Use as anything other than a free weight
• Deliberate throwing, or dropping from height onto an unprotected floor
• Unauthorised repairs or the fitting of non-original parts
HOW TO CLAIM
• Send photos or a short video of the fault, with your invoice or order number, on WhatsApp to +971 55 918 4887 or by email to info@tetsports.com. Claims must be made within 30 days of delivery.
• We inspect the fault, from your photos or in person, and tell you what we found and why.
• For a covered defect we repair it or replace the faulty part free of charge. If a repair is not possible, we replace the piece.
• Some parts come from the factory by sea and can take several weeks to arrive. We tell you the expected date when we confirm the claim.
